2000 MH need financing -MH & Land

Post by Bert » Wed Aug 24, 2005 11:13 pm

We are being asked to move out of our MH park because it has been sold to a new owner who will be converting the property to homesites. We currently own land and would like to move our home to the land and finance everything together. This meaning all the preps that have to be done to the land before we move the house. The banks we have talked to don't seem to want to work with us.....any suggestions???

There are lenders that will finance your project if your credit is good and the value of your land and home together is 80% or less than the amount of money you need to make the move. You can let lenders compete for your business and choose from multiple quotes at the MH LOANFINDER SERVICE.

They are a mortgage information referral service that accepts requests regardless of credit history. You may request information for any type of manufactured home finance. Their goal is to provide you with information to make an informed decision for your financial future. you'll save time and money.

You will discover which participating lenders offer the best programs to meet your needs. There is No Obligation. No Initial Credit Check and the Expected time to complete is only 4 minutes. You have nothing to loose and if you can find it any place this is where you will find the financing your searching for. Take the time and fill out their short form

What is the size of your home? and how far would you be moving it. The cost of take down, transport, and re-installation depend on the size of the home and how many modules it includes. A double wide will be more than twice the cost of a single wide.

Costs and requirements will be different in different sections of the country. You should get prices from several licensed, bonded MH Installers. Home buyers MUST take responsibility for their home installation. If you want to enjoy your home for years to come the site prep and installation must be handled properly. Even if you're not planning on doing the work yourself, it is critical that home buyers understand the entire process.

The most effective way I have found to learn about the step by step process involved in properly installing a manufactured home is a great five-part video series with George Porter, the industry's most respected installation specialist. Mr. Porter leads you through a two hour viewing experience that will prepare you for the numerous operations and complexities involved in the installation of the modern manufactured home.
