I'm wanting to install a shingled roof over my mobile home and don't know if there's a kit I can buy or where to look. My utility bills are out the roof and I'm hoping this will help. Can you point me in the right direction? Any information you can send me will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Re: shingled roofs
I know of no kits, but several businesses exist that do roof-overs. I don't think that will change your utility bills.
Re: shingled roofs
need a little more detail, you did not say if it a single or double and what year. If it is a single and older home make sure the home has the structural integrity to hold the weight of the roof. We had many people who wanted to trade in an older home they had added a roof to but because of the extra weight it would not transport.
Re: shingled roofs
Your best bet is a "Ramada", which is a free-standing roof and supports that is built over your current home, but not touching. This will only give you a new roof and won't affect your utility cost very much. Ramadas cut down cooling costs more than they do heating costs.
