Modular home walls

I'm considering purchasing an existing modular home and would like to know what, if anything can be done to resurface, redecorate the panelled walls. I would like to do away with the seams. Thanks

I have seen homeowners fill these seems with joint compound, and on occassion, caulking. Just ask at the local builders supply store. it should not be hard.
