Repair ?

I have looks like new (assessors comment) 1998 Palm Harbor doublewide that had only one fine line crack until a fork lift digging for a garage knocked into the outside ...bad enough that it shook the whole home ..I was at the opposite end and ran out to see what happened. He described it as a slight knock and I shrugged it off until yesterday, a week after, when I suddenly noticed that there is a medium sized crack in one part of ceiling and a thin line crack throughout the whole structure with some thin line cracks running down the walls.

I will be speaking with the construction company tomorrow. Will patching most likely solve the problem? I know nothing about structures and damage and feel scared about this happening but if it is not something considered more serious than patching the cracks with spackle I'll be ok with the damage. Please advise. ay

The construction company will have liability insurance for this...get a house inspector to check out the structure and their insurance should be paying for all correct and complete repairs...
