Siding problems

Who's responsibility is it to fix or replace storm damage siding on a home that is less then 2 years old? Jacobson says they only take care of the "long side, not the short". I have a piece that came loose in the back of the home, where the two come together.

It would seem that "storm damaged" siding is the homeowner responsibility...Most often covered by insurance but maybe under the deductable..

It is a rare manufacturer who will repair any siding damaged by a storm..
