Is the set-up and/or installation the same for most manufacturers? I've been to a dealer that says they can get me a home from a different manufacturer than they sell. Also, have been to dealers in Yuma AZ. but they won't do set-up or installation in California. I'm worried about the quality of the installation and who I have to deal with if there are problems.
Also, are the piers different fro a home that's 36" above ground versus 18" above ground?
Thanks
Set-up or installation
Re: Set-up or installation
Set up is different with every home..each home comes with a set up manual that is written by the engineers who designed the home..all set ups should meet these requirements...
I would stay away from a dealer who "says" he can get a brand that he is not a dealer for...most likely he will not be buying it from the factory and this could invalidate the warranty obilgations of the factory...

Re: Set-up or installation
regarding your pier question, generally, single block piers are acceptable up to 36" but no higher, then you need double block piers. some manufacturers will allow single blocks up to 24" only.
