Hello. I hope someone can help me with this.
I am considering moving my 2000 Doublewide Karsten Home 150 miles north from the SF Bay Area to Northern California (outside of Yuba City).
I understand that the move would void our warranty (we purchased the house new), but it's paid for and we have some land also available (with water, phone, electricity) ready to go.
How much would it cost roughly? Who would I contact about the move? Quote? Etc.??
Please send an e-mail message to let me know, or perhaps point me in the right direction.
Thanks.
Susan

Re: moving 2000 Karsten Home?
It won'tbe cheap.Look in your yellow pages for mobile home movers to get a quote.
Make sure they are insured and bonded.

Cost is hard to get estimate on...could easily be $10K in your high price area..maybe more...
As the other post mentions the yellow pages...i will not...but another maybe better source of info would be the dealer you bought the home from..he will have a crew familier with Karston and they will be one of the best in the area...This very well might be the same crew that set your home in the first place...At least you will know how they work...
Good Luck
