Minuteman anchors

How can I find out what anchors were used under an existing home and what the capacities are for the anchors?

What is the concrete collar and how can it be installed on existing anchors? Will that qualifuy them as permanent anchors for HUD and FHA loans?

Generally speaking, are the screw type anchors acceptable for HUD and FHA loans on manufactured homes? The HUD design manual says they are not considered "permanent" foundations.

Your respone to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

james , do you have minuteman anchors? there are numbers on the head of anchor that will identify class and manuf. as for financing it depends on what inspector bank you are dealing with , a better solution than concrete collar would be a stabilizer plate added . go to www.tiedown.com click on manufactered housing and find all you need to know about anchors, lately i have beeen using the new systems that dont use anchors
