Best Manufacturers

Since I am very new to the Manufactured home business, I would like some opinions on which are the better manufacturers. I live in Texas, the Dallas area to be more exact and was wondering what builders ranked highly. I realize that there are many to choose from and it would be difficult to choose one so a list of better ones would be fine. Cost is not that big of factor. I of course want the best bang for my buck and if that costs a little more than so be it.

So any advise anyone is willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to start by buying one of the books available in this websites bookstore..They will have lots of quality advise..

You are right..the very best cost a little more...but..over the long haul many folks believe they are less expensive..

Also..Consumers Reports has a great video presentation on how to buy..and ideas on how to get the best for your money..

looking to buy my first house I have looked at stick built verses mh.Can only afford 130,000 if i go with a stick built the house would only be around 1250 square foot. but with a mh the square footage would be 2000.I have been looking at some of skylines different models and would like to know if this is a good manufactory. I live in maryland and would like to know if there is a better manufactory in my area. Any help would be great . thank you
