NO WONDER THE MANFACURED HOUSING/MODULAR INDUSTRY IS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE --
EXAMPLE: WHEN WE DECIDED TO CONSIDER USING MODULAR UNITS IN DEVELOPING A 6-LEVEL (2 STEEL FRAMED APARTMENT/CONDO BUIDLINGS) 64 MODULAR UNITS/ALL THE SAME FLOORPLAN -- 16X80 OR 18X80 -- WE GOT NO INTEREST FROM MANUFACTURERE OF MODULARS.
THIS IS THE 1ST OF 4 WATER-FRONT SIMILIAR PROJECTS WE ARE DOING IN THE AREA !
ALSO, WE HAVE A 60 SUITE HOTEL THAT "COULD" HAVE BEEN BUILT MODULAR. THIS IS THE 1ST OF A CONTRACT OF 10 MOTEL LOCATIONS.
I EVEN MADE TRIPS TO 3 MAJOR MANUFACTURERS TO SHOW THEM THE NEED -- WE HAVE ENOUGH FINANCING, OUR SITES ARE FREE & CLEAR, PROPERLY ZONED, ETC!
SO, WE EITHER BUILD OUR OWN FACILITY TO MANUFACTURE OUR OWN MODULAR UNITS -- OR GO WITH SIPS,
AS WE HAVE A NEED FOR ABOUT 600 (+) MODULES OVER THE NEXT 3 YEARS -- WE MAY JUST START A FACTORY FOR OURSELVES.
THE OWNERS OF INDUSTRIALIZED MODULAR HOUSING DO NOTHING BUT BITCH! BITCH! BITCH! -- I SIMPLY THINK THAT THIS GROUP, AS A WHOLE, COULD NOT FIND A MARKET WITH A MAP & A GPS TO GUIDE THEM!
