Vin numbers

Hi. Where on my trailor could i find the vin number?

On the side where the hitch would be...on the front crossmember...face the home from where the hitch would be...It will be etched into the metal on the front cross member to your left near the left edge...Sometimes they are hard to read...you might need some paper and pencil to trace it...

It will also be on the data sheet inside the home..usually in a kitchen cabinet..or closet..

We have a 1973 Manufactured home, does this year have vin numbers? I have not been able to find one, but I have not looked at the cross member yet. We are trying to obtain financing and the lender needs the number. Thank you.

Eventually the lender will need the title...

I assume you have none...could be a problem...

On a 73' you might also find the number on the top of the hitch..stamped in the metal...try a wire brush to get rid of any rust...but be careful not to wipe the number off..
