for rmurray..checking out dealer
In an earlier post you said to check out the dealer. What if the dealer has an unresolved customer complaint?
Re: for rmurray..checking out dealer
If this info comes from the BBB...I would be fairly careful...It is not hard to satisfy the BBB and if a dealer had a complaint and ignored it or did not finish the job this could be quite telling...
Now this also could be a a consumer that is being a little too demanding...but the dealer response should be offered up by the BBB..Also you can ask the dealer for details....Even ask him for copies of the BBB comunications and his response.....best done in person so you can observe body language...You can ask the dealer for a number of references at this point..of course he will give you leads to what he thinks are happy customers...but if any of these are negative...move on..
The BBB will resove a complaint very easily..it does not mean the consumer is happy..only that the dealer did what he was legally required to do...a unresoved complaint should not be ignored by you..
