Off frame Modulars

I heard that some Manufacturers do a disposable frame on their modulars. What do they mean by disposable and how do you get rid of that frame?

Modulars are transported on different types of frames. Some are quite expensive, are the property of the manufacturer, and are returned after each trip. Others will charge a substantial deposit until the frame is returned. Others will use a frame, incorporate the cost into the home, and when the frame is removed, it becomes the property of the homeowner. This resolves the issue of transporting the frame back to the manufacturer, which can be costly, depending on the distance and the time involved.
