Hello,
I just thought of dropping in and share my first experience with a manufactured home. Since we relocated from the Midwest to the Southwest this was my first time living in a manufactured home and so I find it great. We had people telling us that HallMark Southwest Corporation of LomaLinda, California was a great builder in the manufactured housing industry. We ordered our home 2 months ago and had it delivered one month later. They told us they don't rush their homes thru the factory and they payed attention to the small details. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the market for a manufactured home. This company is family owned business and really takes pride in their workmanship. I toured Silvercrest which is overpriced, Fleetwood, and Skyline and these companies didn't match the Hallmark Homes in the construction process. The dealer and Hallmark really worked together in changes we made in the homes and it just came out to what we expected. Bye Carrie
HallMark Southwest Corp. Very good home.

I was interested in a silvercrest or a skyline home until I saw your e-mail. Now, I'll look for Hallmark too. We have a lot in Northern California and I was just starting the process of looking into a manufactured home (we know zero about them). My problem is trying to figure out how much they cost without giving my name & address to dealers (which i don't want to do right now). Plus, our area requires something called a "snow load" which I gather is just more reinforcements or something.
Is there any way you could give me some insight into how much they cost after the results your research? I know there are a lot of variables, but any help would be most appreciated.

I purchased a 2005 Hallmark which arrived last March. It had major construction defects at 1/2 side of the house. The floor joist in the dining room was not even. The kitchen and dining room areas are coming apart. I am not happy with my hallmark. The doors are thin and I can hear noise from the other side of the house when at the other end. I think I got ripped off.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hallmark, they are a stand up company. My family found that many peoples problems with their homes actually is as a result of having a poor set up crew. Which we also found out is done through your specific dealer, not related to Hallmark at all. So all in all we have gorgeous home and after some time spent hiring a great set up crew have a nearly flawless home!

I know this is way after you posted but what dealer did you go through?
Re: HallMark Southwest Corp. Very good home.
Please tell me more about Hallmark, I soke with the Manufacturer in Loma Linda and they gave me some dealer numbers. I called the dealers but each of them no longer sold Hallmark. Stating that Hallmark was too expensive and that Skyline made just as good a product for much less. I need to know how the workmanship compares.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Geez...the plant gave you numbers of their "customers" who no longer represent them.......NOT TO SMART...One would think they would have a pretty good idea of who the dealers are....Check out these dealers..if they are strong..listen to them..there may well be much deeper reasons they have not vocalized yet...Good Luck Kris..
