Removing steel frames

Can the steel frames on a MH be removed? The home I am considering Has 2X8 floor joist.
I do understand that this would have to be done after the home is set, and the proper beam size and placement would have to be followed under local codes.
As for why I would want to do such a thing, because it my home and I want to.
Has anyone done this or know of the being done.

A MF home is built on this frame.I think it would be unwise to attempt to remove it and replace it with conventional beams.You would
more then likely weaken the homes structural integrity.
