I've been looking at repo homes to possibly save money. Seems repos can be quite pricey too. Been looking at a 97 Fleetwood 28x80 3 bedroom 2 bath with fireplace in GA. Price is about 41,900. I've never bought before and don't know how firm they price them or leave room to negotiate. I mean I don't want to make an offer that's totally unreasonable. Sounds kinda high to me but....I don't know. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Remember this home new sells for about 49K...with complete warranty...

If you use mortgage finance the rates will be the same new or used...but if you use home only finance the rates will be MUCH higher for the used..and the home might very well cost more than a new one just like it..

Also..remember that in 97 Fleetwood were VERY basic homes in GA...almost any other 97 home will be better built..
