We are looking into buying a Silvercrest "Limited" model. Anyone out there had any experiences with Silvercrest -- good, bad, whatever. I'd be very interested in hearing whatever you want to share.
Thanks.

Re: Silvercrest
Sandra,
I live in Northern Calif. and recently purchased a Silvercrest that was manufactured in their Woodland, CA plant. Overall I am quite satisfied with our home but feel that Silvercrest customer service could do a better job. The door knob on the utility door was broken when delivered to us and it took two months to get it fixed. They fixed it after I told them it was a safety hazard and that I was going to file a complaint with various government agencies if it wasn't fixed in ten days.
We have a Westwood model and purchased about $8,000 in upgrades. A number of items I upgraded myself as it was cheaper at Home Depot than buying thru Silvercrest. The basic construction of this home off the line is pretty good.
I don't know anything about the Limited model and can't help you there.
