Need advice on buying a new home

Post by tmsouth88 » Fri Oct 18, 2019 7:04 am

I am thinking about buying and going to look tomorrow. I am not going to jump into anything but financially there is a lot to consider. I don't have any land. What else would I need? I know a septic tank and power hook up. All of this will get expensive I just don't want to make the wrong decision. I have several months before my apt. lease is up. But rent is so high I need to do something else. Thanks for any advice!

Buying a new home instead of an existing one has plenty of perks: Maintenance costs will likely be lower, the home will be more energy efficient and it will look more modern. Of course, you'll pay for those perks; new homes cost more than comparable used ones.
