Park Approval process/timeframe

I would appreciate anyone who can tell me what is the standard time to wait to get park approval. In the process of buying a MH however, park manager has not given us an answer. We were under the impression that only people who are going to live and/or are buyers have to fill out the application. Can someone advise? Thanks much
