Help your dealers to do things right and sales will pick up dramaticlally. Do they record th ename and phone number of everyone who comes tp the location? Does the owner call everyone who doesn't buy the next day and try to get them bacl in? Does every customer get a full product presentation? Is the staff fully trained? These things and more can make a huge difference.
The average salesperson in our industry closes 7 out of 100 prospects. That's all. Ifg a dealer could raise his closing rate just 1% to 8 out of 100, his lot traffic could fall by 20% and he would sell as much. Now is the time to do all selling things right!

Salespeople sitting idle?
RE: Salespeople sitting idle?
You know all the answers are right, but how do you get your dealers to understand that as a Sale Rep. you are offering advise to help. Some dealers have the mind set that they have done this for years and they are happy with the way they are doing biz but do not want to add to the plate. They are happy with a few sales every few months.
What are some states that are weaker in MH, I hear the term overstocked territories how is this determined and where are the areas that are not overstocked?
Are there any plants that have closed recently?
RE: Salespeople sitting idle?
I am very interested in this cd deal , I have seen one when I was looking at trying out different homes ,but it was on a high end product.I think this is one way the manufacturing rep. can help a retailer. I also think a rep should offer a service tracking , inventory , and invoices over the internet or even on cd would be great. This would make one manufacturer more attractive than one who does not offer this.

I love this CD concept to help salespeople sell manufactured homes; is there anyone who has more information on this?
