I can see that you're very knowledgeable - much more so than I - about this issue. You're absolutely right about big business wanting to squeeze out the small-time opposition (this is true of EVERY industry). Your statement about government services makes sense. The question is - are these services actually a function of constitutional government? The answer is NO, but nobody ever questions that anymore. We take it for granted that a huge chunk of our salaries is given to people who think they're "entitled" to the fruits of others' labor. The same bureaucrat taking my money away from me is the bureaucrat telling me I can't live in a manufactured home except in certain areas which are always a long distance from the city. Out of the other side of their mouths, they're urging us all to find alternative methods of commuting or even to CARPOOL in order to clean up the air. Maybe if we could put our manufactured home closer in, we wouldn't have these long air-polluting commutes. Maybe if zoning laws would stop restricting certain businesses from locating in the hinterlands we wouldn't have so many people creeping a few feet at a time down the highways in the mornings (Atlanta is one of the worst areas for this. A 15-mile commute can mean well over an hour's drive time). It all gets back to government - which is a monster out of control. Thanks for your input.
