Hello, fisrt post here. Ive lived in my 14X56 mobile home for 18 years and am getting ready to upgrade to a Kabco Builders 32X68 soon. Got to looking online at skitring and found this. Rapid wall. It gives an R8 insulating value. Anyone here have it or ever seen it. Thanks in advance for your replies.

insulated skirting?
Re: insulated skirting?
The crawlspace under your home needs to be vented to the exterior to prevent moisture build up from both condensation and ground moisture evaporation. Insulated skirting is counterproductive.

Re: insulated skirting?
The most substantial skirting system around is System-1 skirting by Hoffman Concrete. System-1 is what skirting should be- 100% solid concrete. System-1 is not an imitation or a look alike – it is the original concrete skirting system that resists the elements from the summer heat of Texas to the harsh winters of Minnesota. System-1 is built to last and is designed to stay put for years of dependable service.
