I have found that when you buy a new home from a dealer, that either was already set up in a park or on his showroom lot, these units are ordered by the dealer with the bare minimums. these are sold to us the consumer as if they were the pride of the fleet the homes are quite good from redman but it is the dealers that cut the corners and what ever you do do not buy one that is in a park I bought mine from Virginia Mobile Homes In Virginia They had just bought the park and was in the process of cleaning it up. it was the worst thing I could have done I told them many times I did not want the packaged unit A/c. I wanted a split unit heat pump while I was gone I got a packaged unit . that I did not want. not only that but it is like living in a concetration camp the park is owned by Virginia Mobile homes but they allow the manager to run it like some Gulag. the people that pay thier rent on time are leaving in droves. so remember do not blame the manufactures blame the dealers!!!!!!!!!!!

I assume you did not look at other homes available in the area..your experience with the A/C shows folks should have every detail in writing...Most parks in which homes appreciate in value because they are desirable places to live have substantial lists of rules and vigorous enforcement of them..Of course your written lease would have covered all of them..Sorry you are not happy..
