We purchased a Nobility home in Ocala and moved in in June 2005. Their factory output appears to be a good home, however, too many problems were noticed after we moved in that should have been taken care of at the factory - in other words, they either have sloppy workers at their plant or the quality control is almost non-existent. Our last item of dispute wasn't corrected until mid-February.

We purchased a Nobility home in Ocala and moved in last June. While their product overall appears to be a very nice home, the production at the plant leaves a lot to be desired. Either they have sloppy workers or their quality control is almost non-existent. While we have not had as many problems as others in our community who purchased Nobility homes, it took until mid-February for them to fix our last remaining complaint. Their service department appears to be fairly prompt in getting in to solve problems (that should have been found at the plant before the unit left there for delivery). Be sure to write down every item you find to be deficient and keep after them to fix it/them.

There are a lot of folks who which the last item was ever taken care of...Bravo Nobility Service Department...Too bad they do not have a better quality control department in the plant....Maybe after your home they will improve there as well.

Did you have any problems with price or changing in your 1st contract to your final closing? Do you feel that they did any price gouging? Please reply any and all Nobility/Prestige home owners

If anyone had problems with Nobility-Prestige homes with regards to pricing or original pricing from beginning contract to price at end of closing please email me at above address. We have had several problems in dealing with these people and are still waiting for our home to be placed on lot after a year now. Any Info would be appreciated. Thanks Tom

Tom..

I would guess you know that Prestige Homes is owned by Nobility....It sounds like you signed these papers even though you thought they were not as represented...Plants in Florida have been back logged with orders for the last year so the delivery time might well have been expected...I hope you have talked to the upper management about your concerns...Of course you do NOT have to buy a home you do not feel right about it....

GOOD LUCK...

Hi;
If you haven't bought a nobility I would say don't. We bought a new 1999 kingwood. in late 98. It wasn't set up right and we had to spend about 13,000.00 to repair it after leaks. It had waves in the roof from day one. The repair man that came to fix the wallpaper said this was normal. They did nothing and the warrenty they sold us did nothing. One of the bedrooms had two different wallpaper designs in it. The cabinet are not on straight. Just be careful. I had heard of other complaints.
