question concerning home/land

I have a doublewide and was wandering if it is possible for me to buy another one that is already on land and move mine onto the land with it. I would like to use one home as my main dwelling and the second home as a gameroom type/den/recreational type area with a pool between them. What I need to know is can I do this and have the two homes be considered one home as far as financing and insurance is concerned? Thanks for your advice, Barbie

First place to talk to is the local building officials...In many areas this would not be possible...

Insurance and finance would consider these homes separately..not as one..
