Hi,
I'm currently looking in South Carolina to find a home. I have read some of your topics and am still confused. Is a modular or manufactured home better in my state? I am thinking about quality and not price. Also, if u could suggest some quality builders in my region that have a good reputation for quality and customer service it would be helpful.
Thank you

One suggestion-if your home will be located close to the coast, make sure it is wind rated for the coastal areas. Your dealer should be able to tell you about this. Also, quality is its own reward. Watch the length of warranties. The longer the better. This can tell you how a well a manufacturer builds their homes. If they put a long warranty on it, then its probably built well.
