Skateboards, Rollerblades & Bikes

Post by Randy Savitt » Mon Jan 30, 2006 10:20 am

Hi,
We live in a family park next to a very busy street & our Management has told us they've had some compliants about kids riding eithet to earyl in the morning or to late inside the park. So now that our kids ride there skateboards in the middle of the day the mangement is telling them that they can't ride them at all. I turned in a letter with about 50 signatures saying that we very much disagree to management. I ask you where do i go from here to get this so called rule changed.

Most likely, management is looking at safety issues. Rather than pushing them to allow the kids to play in the street - regardless of the amount of traffic, there is always the chance of an accident - look for an alternative. Do you have a basketball court in the community? Or a tennis court? Could one of them be used during certain hours for skateboards?
