Doorway Size
Just purchased a Homes of Merit Manufactured Home in Florida. Doorway width to guest bathroom is 24" wide. All other doorways measure 28" to 32" wide. I was told that met the code guidelines. I'm paying hundreds extra to widen it to 28" because 24" is absurdly narrow for most adults. A gentleman friend had to enter the bathroom sideways. What is the legal size that can be used by the manufacturer? Thank you for your help.
