We sold a mobile to a young man - it sat here 3 months before he got a mover. It was a $$ thing I think. Anyway - the mover came, moved it off our land and left it blocking the road. More $$ I think.
Is there a statute in Oklahoma that governs the length of time it can be left here. Who do I contact?
Thanks
the mover didn't move it
Re: the mover didn't move it
If it is blocking a public road..call the police and report it..
Re: the mover didn't move it
And don't let him move it back on to your property to get it out of the road...
Re: the mover didn't move it
Yes, a public road - rural. Somebody did call the police I guess. They came back this morning and moved it off the road - but into a neighbors yard. It may get pretty dicey when they come home tonight.
And no, they are not coming back here!
The school bus has to turn around here beginning tomorrow. At least they got it out of the way. They said they had to renegotiate the move. Need a bull dozer I guess. So, it may still be weeks.
Thanks guys,

Hey did you ever think that this guy is not getting this home to turn a profit but actually trying to buy his family a place to live. A HOME. Maybe a little patience would help. It's not like the guy has not been trying and 3 months to come up with that kind of money is really not that long. If he had the money to throw around he wouldn't be buying your used trailer now would he. Give the poor guy a break.
