I am new on deciding whether to purchase a manufactured home. Have you heard about Solitare Homes. I have seen one of theirs and they are really nice.

Seems to be one of the best built homes for the money. They just gave us the keys and said take you time. The homes were unfurnished so you looked at the home instead of the decorating, a plus in my book. They were under $30 per foot with 2x6 exterior, 2x4 interior, smart panel exterior, grid system for roof and floor, plywood floors, 1/2" drywall, tape and texture throughout, HVAC, fireplace and set. They are family owned and most of their lots are company owned. They go under the what you see is what you get because they allow very few modifications but it is a well built home and a very good value. They offer an upgrade package that was a little high but you can select the items you want from the package and they will price it out.

We have looked at Solitaire and they are by far the best built for the money that we have seen. You may also want to check out Karsten homes if they are in your area, they are also well built, just a little more pricey.

The only reason we have nopt deceided on Palm Harbor is that they are so plain and ugly on the outside and we're not overly wild about their floor plans. If they could change that fact, I think we would be buying a Solitaire.

we need a copy of a floor plan for a 1993 solitare home. the on that has the smaller kitchen and the fire place is on the front side of the house rather than the back. the measurements are approximately are 28'x68'. we would appreciate this as soon possible if you could.

thank you very much.
