Insulation Issue

Post by CarrieC » Fri Dec 23, 2005 7:37 am

Ok - going on the amount of Insulation that's advised in the "How to Buy...." book, I asked for the upgraded insulation that was recommended. I have been told by the dealer that they can only do 32/22/19. Are they lying????

Probably not lies..but they are representing an inferior product that does not want to satisfy the customer..

If you are looking for energy efficiency..you should also be asking for an Energy Star ready home...Ask your dealer or go to www.EnergyStar.gov and find approved builders in your state....

Good Luck...Insist on features you feel important...

The Bay Manor is a good home and available in a Energy Star ready home as well...If your sale person cannot satisfy you call the sales manager of the plant and express your concern...This is a custom builder who will do anything that is within the code and you are willing to pay for..I have done full custom floor plans...even had totally custom cabinets done at this plant...Order yours soon before the next round of price increases..
