My husband and I ordered a manufactured home that was delivered and paid for in full. We realized that the bedroom dimensions were way off. As a result we refused the house. now, we gave permission to the seller to keep the house on our land until it was sold. They said they ordered our new one. Now the manufacturer says the seller has not given a deposit to order our new home. The house was removed from our land, we have contacted an attorney, the seller is in financial difficulty, has our money and we have nothing. The first house was delivered the end of March. Do we contact the better business bureau? The attorney Generals office? Bought and paid for in Florida. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Re: In Deep
Sounds like the dealer failed to complete his end of the contract. Your best bet is to talk to an attorney to find out the best way to approach the problem in order to get the most back. Much will really depend on the wording of the sales agreement/contract that you signed.
Re: In Deep
The department of motor vehicles is the license agency for dealers in Fl..They also have a recovery fund to reimburse losses due to fraud...Get a good attorney..he should go after the dealers bonding agency...
