Yes - you're right - but if the MAXIMUM AMOUNT THAT I CAN SPEND is not met by one dealer, then I'm forced to go to the dealer with the cheaper price in spite of the fact that it is not the best deal. For those of us buyers who have very little "wiggle room", that puts us at a disadvantage, but the alternative is to not buy at all. It's a real pain.
