temp variation across a new home

Post by clayton jackson » Mon Jan 27, 2003 1:07 pm

I have a new home and there is a 10-12 degree temp. difference between a bedroom on one end of the home and a bedroom on the other end of the home. What can be done? Any Ideas?

Sincerely

Chances are that the warmer room is nearest the furnace. if this is true and all of your vents are open in every room, maybe your furnace is not big enough for your home.

Try closing a vent or two in the warmer parts of the house and see if it evens out at all.

Having the same problem! The furnace is near the warm bedroom, but the rest of the house is cooler. Will try closing of a vent or two.
