perk for septic

What does it mean when a property can not perk for septic or is very doubtful? I would guess it means you can't get septic and would have to wait till sewer is installed. right?

Close...it does mean you cannot use a septic tank on this lot....but there are alternate individual sewage treatment plants available that can be used...They tend to cost about twice as much as a septic...Ask your local health department for acceptable alternatives...
