Hi,
I have a number of questions. First, is anyone living in a park purchased by ARC.
We are looking at a partk owned by Chateau, but is in the process of being purchased by ARC. Looking at a couple of web sites regarding ARC this may not be a good thing. Would like input from anyone living in a ARC 55+ community.
Secondly we are considering the purchase of a Home of Merit, anyone and any pros or cons.
Thank your for any assistance,
June

Re: Affordable Home Communities (ARC)
I have been looking for information on the ARC. We live in a Chateau Communities purchased by ARC. We are now in the process of trying to refinace our home to be put on it's own private land. The manager here said she would grandfather our dogs in and that was in Feb. now on August 1, when I went to pay our lot rent, she told us she couldn't do that and we would have to get rid of our dogs or move. There our 30 families affected by this, Our dogs are not the problem, it is the kids running through yards. Ours is fenced, and signs up. And our dogs are never outside when we are not at home. If we hear them bark then we go and bring them right back in.
I have been seaching on the web to find out information on the ARC and haven't been able to come up with anything yet. Hoping you can help and let me know where you found out information on them.
Sincerely
Donna L. Schroeder
