AC/Heat Pump

Hi all,
Does the AC unit generally come with the home?.
And I have heard Mr.Murray say that heat pumps were not as comfortable as gas heat....I want efficiency, but the comfort level is even more important.

Heat pumps are not more efficient than gas heat either...
They are only more effiecient than other types of electric heat..

A/C does not come from the manufacturer of the home..A/C is bought from a local source....As a matter of tradition in the SE..most homes are priced with a/c...but not always..a few dealer still advertise without a/c to make the price seem lower...
