Re: mobile home appraisers price guide
The NADA Manufactured Housing Appraisal Guide is a resource for individuals who are trained to use it.
Values given in the Guide are just that--a guide. They reflect estimated unadjusted values for an "average" home in the category you are researching. Condition, age, location, optional accessories, etc., all need to be factored into the value.
Therefore, sole reliance on the Guide data likely will not yield an amount that is reasonable for your particular home ... it can easily be much too high or too low.
In the long-run you may actually perform a disservice to yourself unless you know how to properly use the values given in the NADA Guide.
Moreover, rather than spend $100 for a subscription, why not spend a few more bucks to have a manufactured home appraiser give you a more reliable estimate of value. You can find a list of certified appraisers at pcb.lincoln-grad.org
