Selling a MH in Florida

Post by Carolyn » Sun Aug 28, 2005 2:43 am

Questions regardng selling a MH in Florida:
1. Do we charge sales tax? (individual to individual sale)
2. What type of an agreement do we need?
3. Do we have to get an attorney involved?
Any other information would be appreciated.
Thank you....

Peter

Hello Carolyn,

Your question is a bit beyond the scope of this forum which is principally to assist in creation of listings that will bring results.

Every state has differences in laws and regulation regarding taxes and property sales. A call to the town or city clerk, a local attorney or realestate expert should provide insight into the nuts and bolts of completing a home sale. Often attornies will provide a short initial consultation at no charge. The assistance you need should be available at considerably less cost than a traditional listing with a realtor."

Thank you,
Peter
