Mobile Home Ventilation

Post by tr7111 » Fri Apr 06, 2012 12:22 pm

I'm trying to improve the air quality in my mobile home. I'm planning on getting the belly wrap patched up and possibly pay to have the hole mobile air sealed.

The only HVAC system that the unit has right now is a central blast furnace. I live on the coast so i've never needed an A/C really.

However, I would like to know that my air is fresh and ventilated. Should I install exhaust fans or anything of this nature? Should I replace the furnace?

Why do you feel that you need better ventilation? Is there a bad smell? The best way to exchange the inside air is to open all of the windows. The furnace fan should circulate the air in the home nicely. Most have a fan only setting
