Wavy Floor

Post by Moipinip » Tue Mar 15, 2011 11:05 pm

Have one room that the middle of the floor is sagging or wavy. Need to know best repair method. Only one room (bedromm) and it is the middle of the room. As if subfloor is sagging around floor joists. Also, what would be the cause of this in just one room.

Sounds like the floor decking is particle board that has gotten wet. The only way to fix this is to cut out the effected decking and replace with a like thickness of plywood.

For the best directions on how to do this see The Manual for Manufactured Home Repair & Upgrade
