Cut in new door

I'd like to cut in a new pre-hung exterior door. My unit is a 1985 Kaufman & Roberts. My question is this, can I use a 30" or 32" X 80" door made for a stick built house? My walls are 4 1/2" inches thick. I assume stick built houses have thicker walls. It's not the door that concerns me, its the jamb. Please advise. I was thinking I could cut the jamb to the correct thickness.

Thanks,

This is a standard wall thickness. Your issue will be with ceiling height. The ceiling needs to be 90" or taller to have enough height for a standard door and a header above it.

Thank you.

It is 90" to the ceiling. Since posting I've found the standard door jamb is 4 9/16" deep (thick). Sounds like it will work out.
