I own a 1988 Redman. We recently purchased a Kenmore full size diahwasher. There has never been a dishwasher installed in the home. Is this something that i should try to install myself. I have average to better than average DYI skills.
Thanks!

Re: Dishwasher
This job will require carpentry and plumbing skills. Your dishwasher comes with installation directions. Read these through with your husband and let him decide if he wants to fly this project solo or if he feels he will need more advanced assistance.
The installation part will require only basic skills. The finish work is probably going to be the most challenging part. Consider the opening size that will be required below the counter and what will need to be done to finish around the washer so it looks like it belongs.
