trying to get our 3/2 rancher ready for sale. we're in spokane and was wondering if i should hire a handyman to fix some of our walls. they're the walls with the plastic type sheathing covering them.
i have no idea where to find this stuff and get the walls replaced. they have holes in them. any help would be much appreciated.

What do you think...If you were buying, would you pay top market price for a 11 year old home with holes in the wall???? I doubt it..The seller must understand buyers expect the home to be in very good shape..Go through the house and make all repairs to make it look s good as you can....You will not be able to buy matching wall boards..You should consider changing the sheet rock with normal sheet rock and taping and painting the rest of the room to make it look very up to date..
Most used home dealers will always put a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling, you will be surprised how dingy it has become...Also they almost always change the carpet with a lower priced builder grade carpet...Fresh cheap carpet looks far better than worn old carpet...They also detail the house to be "spic and span" and shiny through....A few hundred spent now will return thousands maybe tens of thousands later..
You might want to start your project with a small investment in the The Manual for Manufactured Home Repair & Upgrade offered here.. It will have section on upgrading the walls and other repair projects to make your home more appealing..You can find it here:

Once you ve it ready you might want to advertise it here in the MLS listing section. All it takes is a small 1 time listing fee (good for as long as it takes to sell). The fee is less than 1 weekend ad in a good newspaper.

Good Luck
