help with toilet plumbing

Post by serenityacres » Sat Oct 13, 2007 3:13 pm

do you need a crimping tool to change out the tube going to the toilet? we have a shutoff valve that is leaking. I want to put on a solid flexible tube.

The answer is yes...aren't hubbies always right? The specialized tool will be avaiable at any supply place that sells Pex water lines...You have not mentioned what kind of line you have..Is it a grey poly line or white (clear) pex line..Both require a specialized tool...but not the same tool..The parts distributor should be able to advise you..Some tool rental places rentr these tools...Good Luck with the project..
