I have a 1995 Fleetwood 3 bedroom, 2 bath 16 x 80 MH. I plan to refi the remaining mortgage with some land I have or maybe doing a portfolio loan would be best for what i want to do??. What I would like to do with this MH is as follows, I just don't know if this is something you can do with a MH and I'm hoping someone on here can tell me.
I would like to put this MH on a slab of marblized concrete/foundation, use the marblized concrete as my floors. Make 2 of my bedrooms and bathrooms and make kitchen bigger. Not add on by build out from the walls. The put (fake) log siding all the way around, build a porch all the way around with a deck the extends from the back porch that will be built around the above ground pool in the backyard.

Why would you not just build a whole new log house...The floor part is probably not possible...You might want to invest a few thousand in an architect and get his/her advice and counsel. Their fees would be only a very small part of the overall cost of this project
Re: making rooms bigger on my 1995 Fleetwood
Hi, I really was trying to avoid a big mortgage payment. I'm a single parent and I want to be able to do things with my kid.
Fleetwood is suppose to be mailing me the floor plans of this model; I figured I would need to go to an architect. I was hoping to get some get advice and suggextions from as well. This site is all baout MH, so I thought I would try.

Sorry for being so rough....Sounds like you are a great parent. I just do not think your plan would save much from fresh construction...expecially a log home that is you want to supply all the labor can be bought in a kit form..Even at that most folks who start one do not ever finish it and end up giving up...A consult with a building pro will give you and idea of the total effort and cost involved in this size of project..Most of what you want to do IS possible but the job is huge. I doubt you would be able to do it and live in the Fleetwood at the same time. It would be a rare person who could actually do this out of pocket on a pay as you go basis..For a busy single parent the time would also be a huge investment. Professional builders would be taking thousands of hour and using thousands of dollars worth of tools to keep the time investment at a minimum. Check out your options with a pro and huge your kids...Good Luck...Maybe someone else will offer an opinion here as well..
