What is the best way or wys to install new vinyl siding over an older model mobile home that has sluminum vertical siding and no soffit?

Steve, Make certain in getting all information in writing if you're hiring out. Stay away from Sears Home improvement. They sub contract and are limited in knowledge. Too many "Chiefs". Make sure that if using tongue & grove installation foam sheets that it's correctly applied. Take precaution of wood for foundation is pressure treated and measure correctly from ground up. Extra exit doors is a good time to install. I had an exit doors put in for each area that a plumber might need to enter under the home. Don't let them tear anything apart without your knowledge. Make sure when installing new vinyl siding that screws are used instead of the nails normally used on homes. But the bottom line the installer must know how to work with mobile homes or your life will be hell with lawyers to booth to have have it redone!bb
