I am a manager in a mobile home community that rents some of their homes. These homes are only a few years old. The ceiling fan motors in the living rooms motors are not working. Can I purchase motor's for them or do I need to replace the entire ceiling fan?

Thanks

Robin

I've never heard of just replacing the motor. Probably be more of a hassle to do so. I'd probably just replace the fan. Buy a Hunter fan, they seem to run forever!

You gotta see my repair manual!

Mark is right! The original fans that come w/MFH's and others are JUNK!! They're equivalent to K-Mart/Wal-Mart $29.95 specials. If you get a full season out of 'em, consider yourself lucky.
Go to your local home center (the BIG Orange comes to mind) and put out $70-80 for a real fan. It will not only look better but will take nearly anything you can throw at it.
I hope this helps.
