Why screws instead of nails

What is correct when installing Vinyle siding in a mobile home. I know with regular homes roof nails are used. What we've found is that when contractors didn't hit the studs for the insulation it worked out within a day. With a mobile home and movement I'm concern if the final product will with stand using roof nails? Any information would help. Thank you!

First, you are mistaken regarding roofing nails for vinyl siding. Roofing nails are for roofing, A proper vinyl siding installation will use Aluminum nails that may look like a roofing nail.
When you hammer a roofing nail in place, you knock off the galvenized coating and the nail will rust.
The manufactured housing industry generally uses corrosion resistant staples. these will do just fine.
