My floor is sagging along the outer edges (turns out there was no ground vapor barrier installed & inadequate ventilation--getting those fixed now.)
-----suggestions as to how to go about shoring up/repairing once the flooring is dried again?
Envisioning lengthwise concrete piers plus jacks, or perimeter concrete sill..?
The foundation currently is concrete slabs with posts & anchors (I think every 8'?) and quite secure but obviously not enough to prevent moisture sagging.
sagging floor repair question
Re: sagging floor repair question
To me the big question is how is moisture getting into your floor? If your underbelly is properly sealed, moisture should not be getting into your floor from underneath. Generally when a floor gets wet the moisture is coming from above -- maybe windows leaking or the roof leaking down to the floor.
If you have partical board flooring, probably best to replace it now as once it's wet, it'll continue to weaken.

You gotta see my repair manual!
